Sony do not release those games as often as MS does Forza and Halo (hell, is only one new God of War game on PS3). 

I own a 360 and when I look at the list of exclusive games releasing is just the same few series over and over, Forza, Halo, Gears and Fable.  Variety is good, MS has little.  Sony have a crapload of different IPs they pump out games for.

How is it a bad thing that a new Forza comes out every couple of years, while also keeping the quality at an all time high for racing games? What other racing series has released 4 games all rated 90+ on Metacritic within 8 years? If anything that is a damn good thing to be proud of. I can garentee most gaming company wishes they had a track record like that. Now with Halo, why not release a new Halo? It's one of the most popular gaming franchises ever. I can garentee Sony wished they had a franchise as popular as Halo. And no GT5 is not as popular as the Halo series. Just because it sold more doesn't make it more popular it just means it had a 100+ userbase on the ps2 to fall back on. I'm sure if Xbox had those numbers God knows what Halo: CE and Halo 2 would've sold.

What I see is three 90+ rated franchises and one 80+ you listed. Don't get me wrong variety is good, but quality is much more important, wouldn't you agree? Just to point out the 360 has a pretty good list of exclusives coming out this year, if not more than the ps3. lets see.. Halo 4, Alan Wake: AN, Fable: The Journey, Steel Battalion, Forza Horizon, Crimson Dragon, and there are still some games that are going to be revealed on Monday so you might want to check that out.
