I have always enjoyed Gamestop. Good set up, they just reorganized their stores. It cannot be any worse than a "Game" store.

Gamestop take all new games out of their seals? Yes it can be worse.

You know I think it is one of those things that started off as small situations, and it basically became the word for all games. I don't think it is true, and I have never seen them have new games outside of the seals ever, but if people say they do, they do. Given I am in Canada....gamestop/ebgames is different here.

As a rule of thumb, EBGames/Gamestop (all EBGames here in Canada) take one out of its seal and gut the copy so that it can be displayed on the shelves. When at all possible (when we have more than one copy of a game), the remaining copies are kept in their original wrap behind the counter.

Trust me, employees prefer to sell you sealed games because it involves less work for everyone.

Plus, the only time they gave me gutted copy is when I used my 3 Dollar Warranty, on the game I knew I would have to use it on GTA: SA (I knew many people would borrow it from me, and it wouldn't return in good condition).
