When they say "Multi-year investment" I am sure they mean that the Vita is a good use of your money if you want to buy a gaming device that will last you a few years. The reasons they use for this is that it is very well built and that it's large amount of gaming and control inputs will allow developers to create all sorts of games over the coming years.
