To be fair, for a while, my favorite Bond actor was Pierce Brosnan. My opinion on my favorite Bond film might change. While You Only Live Twice is considerably flawed, it's quite a fun ride. Although I've been warming up more to Dr.No again after a rewatch.

I'll leave Brosnan discussion for another day... I actually think that you described YOLT perfectly.  Considerably flawed, but a fun ride.
