This is incorrect. There is only one friend code per system which basically works like a gamertag or PSN ID (or now an SEN account).

Wrong, PSN and gamertags accounts dont work like that at all. You can have multiple accounts on one system and you can use one account across different systems(in PSN case). 3DS system sounds more like the Wii one

In a way, you're both right. True, on PS3 and 360, you can log in with multiple accounts on one system or use the same created account on a different system. That's where you're right. Rol is right if you take the PSV (PSP didn't have an ID system) into account. On that system, it's just one account per device. Of course, you can use the same account as your PS3 if you choose. One advantage with the 3DS is that you can change your name at any time. Not too bad if you ask me. One guy said having one account per system sounded disasterous. Both Sony and Nintendo seem to think alike when it comes to portables. One account and one account only.

Wasnt even thinking about PSV. I dont have one yet and I forgot about the whole one account per console. IMO i think that thing is stupid no matter who is doing it. Especially SOny I like having multiple accounts on PS3 so I can see what the Euro and Japanese stores have to offer. Can you pick your own friend code on 3DS or is it the same lame things like Wii?
