Burt Bacharach. Herb Alpert & Tijuana Brass. Dusty Springfield. Best Bond soundtrack ever (only John Barry's score for You Only Live Twice starring Nancy Sinatra comes close).

Typical sixties happening movie. What's New Pussycat, The Party and of course The Pink Panther are better though. Hell, even It's A Mad Mad Mad Mad World is better. Still, I love it. It's the only "Bond" movie I own on DVD.

I admit that Mr. Bacharach is legendary and that the sountrack is great, but I personally think that John Barry had the "Bond sound" down.  Did you know that Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass were featured not only in the theme song for Casino Royale, but the theme song for Never Say Never Again?

I actually normally love these sort of movies (The Pink Panther series is my favorite comedy series ever), but this one just didn't do it for me.  As much as I love Peter Sellers, this might be my least favorite performance of his.  Keep in mind that I have watched every single film of his that I possibly can.
