I think its too early to predict the final sales number of Wii right now. few things we need to observe first 1. How sony and ms perform this holiday season 2. the sales number of MGS 4 and FX III when it released. 3. Then in 2008 if the above games failed, will wii recieved 90% of 3rd party developer support like the ps2 had during its life time. if all 3 play in Nintendo's favor, then its possible for nintendo to drag the Wii to a 7-8 yrs lifespan. Then with a 8 years dominate lifespan, it can close in the ps2 record.
