However, am I the only still pissed that Sony removed the PS2 CPU/GPU from the PS3 for backwards compatibility? Because I can't recommend anyone a PS3 for that very reason >.>

No, not anymore. But eventually I got tired of moronic customers at work asking me if it can play PS2 games and I'm like, no. The old ones can. The new ones can't. And they're like why not and I told them, because Sony is cheap and took out the PS2 components. And they're like, well can you sell me an old one? And I'm like sure, yeah I can go back in time to when they still made them and sell you one now, in 2011. But of course I couldn't say that. So instead I told them to keep their PS2 around but they didn't like that idea. Stupid rednecks.
