3DS established userbase: 15million.

PS3/360 userbases in 2009: ~35Mil.

Type of games released on HD twins: M rated games.

Type of games released on portables: E-T rated games.

Resident Evil fan current base: PS3/360.

Type of growth for RE:R and most Nintendo games: Long-term.

Typer of growth for RE5 and most HD twin games: Short-term spike.

 

Maybe for the moment you're right, but given time RE:R will outsell them.
