In my experience, Microsoft fanboys are the worst. They haven't been bad the last few years, but between 2005 and 2009 (when thePS3 finally got truly awesome), I couldn't tell anyone I wanted a PS3 or that I felt it was better without EVERYONE telling me how much of a moron I was. I was stupid, Xbox was better, PS3 sucks, Xbox Live was better, Xbox had better games, Xbox was cheaper, Xbox EVERYTHING was awesome, and PS3made me a fucking moron.

Microsoft fans were outright aggressive in their hatred of everything not Xbox, while ignoring such major flaws as the Red Ring (or downplaying it), and acting like XBLA was worth the money, when it actually inflated the system's price to more than the PS3 once it was all said and done. Hell, even LAST generation, when the PS2 steamrolled Gamecube and Xbox, I had Xbox fanboys telling me I Was dumb for not getting an Xbox even though there were basically no games for it compared to PS3 and the controller was an atrocious monster.

Sony fans, on the other hand, have been very DEFENSIVE this round. I've not often seen PS3 fans assaulting Xbox or Wii users, and if it happened it was usually only in threads or places where people were harassing Sony fans. Last generation Sony fans didn't say shit. I don't ever, EVER recall sony fans making a fuss about anything because I distinctly remember actually starting to think the Xbox was better because ALL my friends had Xboxes and loved them, so I felt alone in the world of PS2, becuase Xbox fans were so fucking vocal.

Nintendo fans last gen were like PS3 fans this gen, defensive and rarely aggressive. This gen it's been pretty tame though, far as I've seen. yeah, we got the fanboys, but they're easily shrugged off and they're usually pretty quiet about shit.
