I think Soriku is correct. Nintendo could always use another NSMB for the DS and DKC seems perfect for that. Of course, there was already "Climber" which was okay but not great... so maybe it will come to the Wii. If EAD or HAL makes it I don't think it matters if Rare is out of the picture.
