| VGKing said: I've said this before and I'll say it again, Wii may have won the console sales war, but in the software department it is severely lacking compared to the HD Twins (IMO). I'm glad I now have sales data to back this up. |
It sold more games than either console, and while it may have slightly fewer million sellers, it has the most 5 million sellers at 18 titles, (double the PS3) - in fact, the Wii has as many three and a half times as many 20 million sellers as the PS3 has 10 million sellers. We could also take a smaller number like 200K, the Wii has 100 more titles that have sold at least 200K than the PS3. How do you rationalize that into a software market defeat of the Wii?
Or the one figure that really does matter, the total software sales which is over 250 million more than PS3, or, as much software as PSP and PS3 combined.
I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
