'waste' money? It's significantly easier to port/dev on X360, and if this gets to 400k/500k then was worth their while.

How can you justify 400k as worth their time??? Do you really think they will be happy with 400k sales with a user base of over 60 million? There is a sales gap of approximately 3 million between the 360 and the ps3 versions of the same final fantasy XIII game. That is a massive gap for such a hyped and well known franchise.  

If they make money off the 360 port, (Which sure they are) then its well worth their while. I dont think an exclusivity deal with Sony would increase their "quality". Specially because theyre basically using the same engine for the games anyway. So porting would be effortless for the same engine and enough time to develop the story.
