I have read about it many times and heard the claims that plasmas are better and in the past I agreed with them when I went to stores to compare but in the last two years I can't see the superiority of plasmas with my own eyes any more. Honestly when I visit electronics stores the Samsung expensive LEDs outshine the Panasonic VT30 series plasmas they have on display.


Thats becoz they set optimal configurations to LED tvs while Plasmas get worse treatlent so that they look bad lol, no joke. :) LEDs are a better form of LCDs, they're the same technology, the viewing angles, the contrast and blacks are still inferior to Plasmas, there is image ghosting in 3D displays while Plasmas dont have it. I agree with u tho, LEDs look amazing in stores :)

Damn, I suspected that they try to trick customers like that.

I might buy a Panasonic plasma after all. Especially now that they're in trouble, they need support.

It's so hard to decide.


Dude if you can find a cheap VT30 or VT20 go for it! What size do you game on?

I game on a 24 inch Samsung PC moniter. I always wanted to game on a big screen though.

It's so hard to decide. Should one go all out and buy the 55 inch VT30 for 2000 Euros or should one buy a smaller cheaper one and upgrade in a few years for an even better one (with better 3D and stuff)?
