Lol Apple have no chance to survive the TV business, its only dominated by 4 5 companies and mainly by Samsung. Apple is pricing their little iPhones at 600 euros, how much will they price their TVs? 6000? The high end market is already feeded by Panasonic and Sony. If you want higher then high end then there are still Loewe tv's.

Sorry buddy, even those millions of Apple fanboys wont flock to anything that is significantly too expensive. TVs are also not something you can just upgrade every year.

i hiope they don't have a chance because i hate a company dominating a market but i think you will be wrong. they don't have to price their tv's so much higher. they sell the phone for 150 or so more than the competition, they could sell it for 300 or so more and believe me there are so many freaks nowadays they buy everything with an apple logo just so they can say "i have an apple tv". they don't do it because they need it but they will buy it. i know some of them and i know some of them will buy an apple tv just because it's apple.

and even if they won't sell so much they will still sell some and these purchasers won't buy an other tv then. 5 million apple tv's would mean 5 million less for the others...
