I would argue that it's impressive that 3rd parties managed to achieve it on their own, but I believe Nintendo could've achived 130M+ had they continued to support the console, with the help of 3rd parties giving background content. Try to see what I mean. And maybe even, they could have reached 90M+ without 3rd parties, had they kept the momentum going. No proof, just hypothesis with predictions given the 2008 to 2009 track record. |
