The A/P scenes in episode II work out well enough if one views them through the lens of "awkward teenage boy who really hasn't had much time to socialize as he's been jedi training who runs into the hottie from his past," Anakin's conduct seems to work out pretty well. Although he's supposed to be 19, one must think that his social development has been stunted and that he is dealing with a lot of pressure, it's not really conducive to being very smooth with the ladies. It's the scenes between them in Episode III that are inexcusable

It's not that. It's the acting that I have a problem with. And yes, it is quite possibly worse in Ep III. I looked up one of the scenes in the second movie to find what I meant, and the top comment was "I don't like sand... It's so.... Sandy.... But you, you are not sandy, and that is why I love you." Made me laugh.

My point is though, is that I don't care if it's the normal awkward teen stuff. I've been there. It's the acting that gets me. It feels fake and forced. It's painful to watch.
