First of all, I'd just like to say that the units of Force are clearly Newtons and not Midi-chlorians...

I'm actually slightly sad about this. On the one hand, the prequels had their issues... lots and lots of issues... but on the other hand, I enjoyed watching the movies too. It's like how watching Avatar was for me. I just shut my brain off and stared at the pretty pictures. And it was entertaining.

He can complain all he want, and technically he's right (people insulting him for his work certainly wouldn't encourage him to actually listen to their complaints)... but he fails to recognize that people have legitimate issues with the movies too. Like the acting. It was really bad in the prequels. I don't think that the purpose of the Anakin/Padme scenes in Ep II were to make me cringe and smack my forehead until it was raw. The music made me more emotional than those scenes did.

Speaking of the music, that's definitely my favourite part of the prequels. Duel of the Fates, Anakin's Theme, Across the Stars... I love pretty much every theme John Williams composed for the prequels.

Anyway... I'd like for Lucas to understand that his vision isn't necessarily good, and for fans to understand that insulting and berating the guy for following his vision isn't going to make him more likely to actually listen to the fans. Then, once we all understand this, we can all be happy and make some epic The Old Republic movies!
