It's also worth mentioning that FFVI has one of the best soundtracks ever made.

Well, so do the other two choices.

Do let us know what you think about it. I've been planning on getting some Nintendo Points specifically for this game, but I'd like to hear some impressions from someone who doesn't have any nostalgic feelings toward it. Just in case.

Just played it for an hour.

Nice music. All the tripical tropes of RPGs are there, but they're enjoyable. (THIS better be the game to have started the whole "pretty mysterious girl with memory problems" shit)

Only gripes so far is that you can't move diagonally and the ABS. I'll get used to controls by the 50th hour, probably. The Active Battle System is good, except when you only have one member in your party, because then you have to wait for your bar to fill up to attack. With multiple party members it adds a but more pace with the attack order not haveing to be, well, in order. Battle system feels the same as FFIV so far, so I didn't have to get used to it.

Also, Edgar is freaking hilarious. I love that guy.

Anyhow, I like it. its engrossing.
