Wii U Set To Have Strong Launch + 3rd party Devs Already Have Final Wii U Dev Kits!

Zumba Fitness and Just Dance are strong titles but they're not games that I will play. Assassin's Creed, Arkham City and Skyrim are all big titles but I'm not going to buy a Wii U for games I've already played.

Well we all know that there will be a bunch of multi-plat games and ports on the Wii U launch. Pikmin 3 was being developed for the Wii (not anymore) so that will probably be a launch title. Zelda and even Super Smash Bros. have long dev. times so they will not be for a while according to mulitple online sources. Really is hard to tell, since Nintendo is keeping their stockholders and everyone else in the dark, at least until E3.

Would a Mario game, Wii sports type of game, and Pikmin 3, along with some other 3rd party games interest you? Or will they need to do more?

If Nintendo is smart, they will do what they did with Wii and launch the new console bundled with the mini-games they have used in their demonstrations. They could also launch a NSMB WiiU and Pikmin 3.

Also, IF (big if) Square Enix does a good job (I told you, big if), WiiU could have Dragon Quest X as a launch title in Japan. That would guarantee an excellent launch there.
