Nah, I think they're mostly visual. They might have never heard of the game.

That's why the Xplay review matters. Nobody who never heard of the game is gonna be looking up reviews for it. Casuals, watching Xplay, might see the game, see it got a perfect score, and be like, "Woot, I gotta get that."

Understand?

Why would casuals who by definition are not video game afficionados be devoting time to watching shows about video games?

Oh wow, you really got me on that one!

Your logic....heh.

Though, this doesn't really need explaining(because you already saw my logic and realized it is correct, who wouldn't), your now just trying to save a little face, but I can't back down now, because you guys are mean. That's right, you fanboys take any sign of backing down as a sign of weakness.

Therefore, here we go.

My original assertion is simple. The Xplay review will get to more casual gamers than the IGN review, because most casuals have never heard of NMH.

You ask, well, casual gamers don't watch G4.

Wrong, from your assertion, hardcore gamers(from what you told me, but I disagree) don't watch Xplay.

What is certain, is that casual TV watchers, watch G4Tech TV, because of Cops, Ninja Warrior, and even AotS.

So, one thing is for certain. Somewhere in America, a casual gamer will see that NMH existed, and got a 5/5, by accidently watching Xplay, or a ticker at the bottom of the screen proclaiming the games score, and decide to buy the game.

It is much less likely that a casual gamer will stumble onto IGN and type in the words "No More Heroes" in the search box, to see that review,  and decide not to buy it.

That said, in the real world, and not your fantasy land, millions of semi-casual gamers do depend on Xplay for their reviews. Just check the Gamespot or Gamefaqs forums for NMH, and I'm sure you'll find posts proclaiming the 5/5 review.

These are just my opinions. Forgive me if I am to assertive with them.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.
