Mediocre combat
Often times laughable animations

and yet I had more fun with this game then anything else in recent years. The game just makes you care about your character. Most of the guilds are enjoyable, some of the side quests are incredibly interesting. And the world is just so vast. Its perfect for shaping the game into your own personal experience. The game has many many problems yes, but it is just on a different level then all the other "triple A" games to come out this year. It will be a scary day when bethesda finally manages to include good combat mechanics in an elder scrolls game. When that happens there won't be any reason for me to play any other game.
