More proof for that point is Move which got a good amount of casual games and shovelware, yet it didn't and doesn't help PS3 sales in any meaningful way.

Didn't PS3 just have its best year in 2011? You're telling me PS Move had NOTHING to do with it?

The games that sold the Wii couldn't be on the PS3? You mean because they're owned by Nintendo right? Because technically they can easily be ported to PS3.
