slowmo said: New data that highlighted some tracking issues. I don't see the big issue as the long timers on this site know nothings set in stone until we get shipment data. Even then we get historical adjustments from time to time that suddenly swing a few hundred thousand units at a time. If ioi has data and he's not satisfied with the figures then he has to adjust and then reassess as more data arrives in future. I don't get the lets not adjust now just in case something changes, seems a little lazy waiting for data that might just confirm these adjustments that have been made. Whatever they do with figures at this time of year, the stock response is always "lets wait for shipment data", where's the fun in that? |
The fun is in being able to view and talk about actual accurate numbers. Not have a Wii 2008-like situation again. What was it, over a Million overtracked? That's why people say wait for shipment data. We've had consoles here selling more than they've actually shipped.
It's not really a big issue, it's just a very stupid time to adjust.
