If Sony released a new PS3 model that was... not as ugly as the slim and was PS2 compatible and advertise it from that angle it would do much better for sales than a $50 price cut imo. Let the PS3 become the only PS2 by stopping production of the PS2, or maybe it would be better to do this when they can sell it at a $200 price point.
