Remember that mass market price ww would be at least 50$ more now than in 2000 due to global financial growth. So if that was 199$ before, it's probably more like 249$ now, a fact I'm sure Nintendo considered when pricing the Wii (which frankly isn't very cheap in comparison when taken into account the massive difference in hardware costs to produce it).
