They need to make this game very open, go back to the exploration and unkown feeling like the original. Maybe add an RPG element of two. Now with Multiplayer maybe crank up the amount of players from 16-24. Then make the obvious changes like improved graphics, Forge, Firefight, theater, etc. Then add a new game mode(s), something like beast mode in Gears 3 would be neat and/or air combat. Adding some of the vehicles from Halo Wars would be sick like Grizzles, Hawks, mech guys, locust. The need to come up with a badass equivalent to the scarab.
There is so much they could do with this game it's crazy, so many possibilities.
