Ouch at Crysis 2 PC.

Ouch at Xenoblade, above games such as Gears 3 and MW3....

Some people will justify this as a reaction to its not being announced as coming to the US for a long time. And I accept that - up to a certain degree.

But if Xenoblade will end up not selling much in the US (which is what most people expect), in my opinion this will completely disprove the camp that says that piracy for many is just a way to check if a game is any good, and many (or at least enough) pirates eventually buy a game if it is worth it.

it is much cheaper to hack your wii than your 360 and you lose far fewer benefits from pirating games. I'm suprised MW3 and Gears 3 got even that many downloads considering you won't be able to play online, while the wii games are same exact thing as buying retail, and you can't even buy xenoblade retail. So put two and two together and its not suprising at all xenoblades got pirated more than them.

Also kinect sports season 2 torrents are crazy. Considering how small the kinect userbase is and how casuals are considered the overwelming majority of kinect owners. Guess that myth has been disproven.
