That is because Monster Hunter came out for it, and DS didn't have it available. Now 3DS has Monster, but Vita doesn't, and it also doesn't have Dragon Quest, Pokemon, or Mario Kart either. The situation is different. I would have said that Final Fantasy would have been a potential big gun for it, but over the last few years, the Final Fantasy milk went sour; so even if it did secure exclusive rights to that series, it won't be as big of a hit as it would have been 5-6 years ago.
