I think the answer is simple at this point actually.

 

If PS4/XB720 both end up being 'much more powerful', there is still the chance the prices will stay around the same price as a Wii U since PS4 and XB720 will be using tech from the previous gen (Move for PS4, Kinect for 720) while Wii U is PS360+ level hardware coupled with a tablet controller.

 

I remember reading something almost a year back about the Kinect costing ~$50 in parts in order to make. By the time 720 rolls around the cost will no doubt be cheaper. Same goes for PS4 and the Move, if they both go this route.

If Sony wants Wii U like experience they will just go Microsoft style and just place "Better with Vita" on the PS4 game boxes.
