If you add the bonus games in late, they get an unfair advantage. Not everyone agrees they belong above all the eliminated games. It's best to introduce them as early as possible so they get the smallest unfair advantage. Also if most people dislike some of the films, they can be eliminated appropriatly, and not near the end.
