Just a thought. If you believe Jesus was the son of God, then is it even correct to say that he was born in the first place?
Either way, I remember watching some second rate documentary on Jesus's birth a few years ago. No date is given, but there are mentions of things like astronomical and regal events that allow you to approximate when he was born. The conclussion was that it was likely he was born around May/June. As I said though, this was a second rate documentary and wasn't particularly trustworthy.
I/Google can't seem to find the documentary though. Also, the link in the article seems to be dead, so I can't tell what his reasoning was for May.
