From what I've played in Skyward Sword, the experience getting into the gameplay was a breath of fresh air compared to the other zelda series but it still consisted the core basics which made the zelda series so great.
The only complaint I had was all the recalibrating from time to time.

I'm sure it can't be too bad though, but it isn't strenuous to keep swinging the wii mote is it?

Calibration like 2-3 times per playthrough per day that I play the game. I think one time, I had to re-calibrate 3 times during the 2nd dungeon, but its nothing serious compared to what I've been hearing about other games like Skyrim (glitches lol).
Its not that strenuous about swinging the wii mote, the only time I swing the wii mote is when I'm attacking a enemy or cutting grass, most of the time, you'll be too busy using tools such as the beetle, sling shot, etc.
Killing bokogoblins a different way from swinging the sword is funny as hell though. Say for example, if you see a bokogoblin on the other side of a cliff or w/e, and there's a rope connecting two cliffs and the only way to get across is going through the rope, if you attract the bokogoblin with a beetle or startle it actually, it will try to come over to your side by walking on the rope, you can call out the beetle and knock it out and see it fall into the endless abyss xD.
I think the only time I had become tired from swinging the sword was during the sword training in the beginning of the game, afterwards, its not so much.

Good to know, I really can't wait to play it man, I haven't spoiled ANYTHING too, don't realize how hard it is!!
