Officially no, multiple credible outlets report sources within Nintendo indicating a second tablet is going to be usable. Nintendo initially confirmed a single tablet would be usable but while they gave reasons for only a single tablet they did hint that more tablets could be possible. Though of course nothing official has been confirmed!
