Let me disagree, the Wii Remote already did it, when everybody in the industry was talking about how this gen whuld strongly focused on-line multiplayer, the Wii Remote just proved that what people really want is local multiplayer.

Also compared to the Wii Remote the Wii Pad is a steep back.
