its because amazon doesn't have any wiis in stock.

Infact amazon currently has no nintendo systems of any type in stock. All sold by third parties. From what I remember they stopped selling 3ds after some users complained about the screen scratching. Not sure why they are no longer selling any of the nintendo systems. Maybe some disagrements with nintendo.
