Trends are likely to repeat, to be fair the fall next week could be just as big as prior years since Assassin's Creed has really gotten repetetive and lackluster. Revelations is nowhere nearly as big as AC2 was and I'd argue Brotherhood too.

4GB 360 is a good buy if you own a PS3 and just want to play 360 exclusives. At that price, I think any self respective gamer who could apreciates a good shooter/RPG/Race game should get a 360 as a second console. As a primary console, the PS3 is the better buy, but in the end it depends on taste (from a software exclusive perspective).

UC3 should be selling a lot better then UC2 for early sales considering the hype and quality UC2 brought to the franchise, but it's not. Sales are frontloaded. The question is will legs be strong enough to make it best in series like Black Ops did for CoD, or will sales die off from lack of hype/interest like Halo Reach (losing to Halo 3 despite stronger start).

Can't wait till I get my hands on a PS3 again and play UC3, UC2 is my favorite PS3 exclusive, and the only one I want to platnium.

I was only 2k off in that 10 week countdown for 360, and I overestimated PS3 by 60k LOL.

For december, holiday sales affect Americas more, and 360 dominates. I know PS3 will do better this holiday then last because of EMEAA dominance, but I dunno. MS saved all their exclusives for the holidays and I think the 360 has more to look forward to in 2012, so I feel sales will be higher. Just not as high as last year, and it won't beat PS3 by as much.

Honestly though, I'm bad at predicting sales. I keep thinking this gen will end, but it keeps on going, spitting sequels after sequels.

AC too repetitive? Sounds a lot like COD to me. And I have seen some numbers AC Revelations has a slightly bigger launch than the previous ones although it will die off quickly (hopefully) The same with Halo CE and Skyward Sword is doing mixed in the all parts of Europe. Although it will be huge since next week is Black Friday and there will be a discount and a bundle. But that won't stop other games from doing great as well such as Uncharted 3, Halo, Skyrim and Assassin's Creed

Yea, but Assassin's Creed is a single player game, where MW3 is multiplayer, and I'm not huge on Call of Duty either. I just like the co-op in Modern Warfare 2 and 1 was a great first game like AC1.

Also Zelda released on the 20th, which was this week. So we won't see a big Wii boost yetm unless Zumba Fitness 2 is huge.

Also Uncharted 3 isn't doing that well. Uncharted 2 had a stronger week 2 despite releasing earlier into the holiday season. Like Gears it's frontloaded.
