I love heavy metal and it's almost the only thing I listen to but it doesn't firt very well in video games.

i don't either its too damn cheesy

a game's OST is the only thing that fits a game

I don't agree to the idea that some genres are right and others are not for credits or intros. Any song, even if cheesy, can fit a videogame, specially if we are talking about the credit sequence. Who would have said that Florence and The Machine or Lisa Miskovsky could do into a memorable ost? I even remember how excited I was back in the day when I finished the first Silent Hill and during the credits I heard a Tango!

By the way, you both chose great songs, specially The Mission's Wasteland, I never heard it. Instant classic! I think it could have fit that Rockstar game in which you were a killer who scaped from a mental institution. What was its name again?

most of the stuff i listen to isn't well known, since you liked that song then i suggest you listen to their other songs, theyre a great band of course in my opinion (not a lot of people like that style, but i do prefer the "bass" vocals, rather than the High pitched vocals like for example AC/DC)
here are some of the songs from them
