Nintendo is lazy. They better provide a better option than the Wii mote and nunchuk or else they will suffer the fate of consumers seeing it as another Wii. There has to be an update of those motion controls to better resemble the accuracy of the PlayStation Move.

Actually, that may become a problem.  Not a major one, mind you, but still a problem.  Given the console has a similar look to the Wii, as well as being called Wii U (instead of Wii 2 or an original name), some out of the gaming loop who see it still uses the old Wii-motes may think it is just Wii redesign with a new controller.  The same thing happened to the 3DS when it first launched.  It's similar design to the DS, plus the name 3DS, brought some to believe it was just a redesign of the DS with 3D.  Hopefully, Nintendo will have better launch advertising to get the point across that it is, in fact, a new console.

I dont think that is really true.  I dont know about overseas, but in the US there were 3DSs everywhere, TArget, Walmart, Gamestop, Best Buy, those are big stores. So it wasnt like people could not play them.  They just were not interested in the 3d at least not for the initial price

Like I said, I don't think it was a major problem (price was the major issue), but definitely played its part.  Plus, not every store I have been to has had them set up, especially not at launch.  It's only been in the last few months I have seen my local Wal-mart and Best Buy set one up for play.  Gamestop had one up a week or so after launch, but not everyone goes to Gamestop.  And Nintendo's initial ads didn't help matters, either.  Just people staring at the screen with no gameplay footage.  So, I'm not surprised some didn't realize it was a brand new system.
