Actually, that may become a problem. Not a major one, mind you, but still a problem. Given the console has a similar look to the Wii, as well as being called Wii U (instead of Wii 2 or an original name), some out of the gaming loop who see it still uses the old Wii-motes may think it is just Wii redesign with a new controller. The same thing happened to the 3DS when it first launched. It's similar design to the DS, plus the name 3DS, brought some to believe it was just a redesign of the DS with 3D. Hopefully, Nintendo will have better launch advertising to get the point across that it is, in fact, a new console.
