I love the speculation of new consoles. If they are shooting for a simultaneous launch date as Halo 4, then I'm sure that it will see a release on this platform as well. I could see them releasing Halo 4 with 2 discs in the box - the 360 DVD and the 'blu-ray or other optical disc format for 'Xbox 10'. That would be genius as it would guarantee great sales and provide an incentive to upgrade...you could argue that it negates the need to upgrade at the same time though, but I would say that they potentially have more to lose by dropping support for the 360 and risk losing millions of live subscribers.

ya i agree release it on both consoles, for the next box version they could have a little bit better graphics and maybe more content(something like the space battles from battlefront 2) that wouldnt be possible on 360.It would sell like 10 million on 360 and 5 on the next box. It would also help push sales of next console while allowing fans who dont want to upgrade to still play it.

 

     I'm personally ready for next gen. look at the samaritan demo or the newer cryengine one. thats what next gen could look like. Photorealism could be achieved to the naked eye.
