They would make more money if not for their hatred of the X360.

Out of curiosity, do you honestly think they hate the 360?  because I've never considered that for things like Gust or that one Shmup company that seems to stick solely to 360.  I've always assumed that they just found a niche and a fanbase that was profitable and they wanted to stick to it instead of trying to expand and perhaps losing money.  Considering that most of their games sell small potatoes already and JRPGs on both consoles sell more on the PS3 it seems reasonable to think that they thought they couldn't get back their money from porting instead of them actively hating the console.

These guys are nuts imo. I wonder how they can sleep at night.

They probably lost all contact with reality:

- "Guys, we have this idea for a SHMUP that appeals to the very limited audience that is Japanese supernerds. How could we make it even more hardcore and challenging, so that we become the stuff of legends?"

- "How about developing it on the 360?"

- "Wait, that's stupid. Nobody owns one here in Japan"

- " I know, right? That's why it's so brilliant! These consoles are so hard to find that even huge nerds will have to shed their blood and tears in order to play our games!"

- " Dude, I think we're on top of a fucking gold mine. Let's call this Mike Kuro soft guy right away!"

- " It's 'Microsoft' ".

- " Sure. Just make the call ".
