BF3 weeks 360 saw a boost of 71k (36%) and PS3 saw a boost of 50k (20%). BF3 still boosted 360 by a bigger factor, and MW3 will have the same effect only greater. still my point is that PS3 sold better even with 360 boosting higher and the 360 version having better sells. nobody will remember which one BF3 boosted more on but like many other things which console sold more the wk the game released. so in the end PS3 won cause of the boost it got from BF3.

this same situation can happen when MW3 releases but as we both know its not likely. again with EMEAA sells like they are now the situation could either be the same for EMEAA as the Americas with Japan giving PS3 the win, the americas giving 360 the win by a small margin, or the EMEAA giving PS3 the win without any help from Japan. like the wk of BF3.

remeber your own arguement from before. americas and EMEAA giving 360 the win without Japan. now is the other way around. now PS3 EMEAA kills 360 americas and PS3 nolonger needs Japan to win the wk.

meanning 360 will need to boost up to PS3 EMEAA sells. its not like the EMEAA sells are going to go down now that we're in Nov. both regions will see a boost for both console but the diference will be EMEAA ha been selling higher and if thijngs stay that way then 360 america playing catchup will be next to not likely.

also PS3 ameicas although only by 10k are over 306 EMEAA. plz have an arguement for this cause i don't see one.

Pre-Orders for BF3....BF3 still boosted 360 by a larger fraction then on PS3, and pre-ordered mimicked sales in Americas (both games sold about 40% better then pre-orders). PS3 has EMEAA, but CoD sells nearly 3/4ths its 360 sales in Americas, and 2/3rds it's PS3 sales in Americas. read the post above.

Tie Ratios mean everything when you are talking about which game is more popular on which franchise. You need to look at more then just raw numbers. nope cause the numbers tell me everything. ratio is ruffly  how many buy the game and stick with it right? its an average of every other user per sell per console v the other console and thats missleading when looking at raw figures. both are data which is something that i can live with but ratio's are an analysis while raw numbers are more or less a fact.

see by your posting many would figure you for a core 360 owner which isn't exactly true. it may be your prefured console but its not the only one you have or have had but it is the main one you play.

me on the other hand people would look at the fact that i'm looking at the figures numbers past and present and have a more balance posting style and wouldn't know what side to put me on. i'm not giving no one the chance to lable me but for you it can be seen clear as day. thats the analysis/conclusion many would come to, and for me thats why ratio's don't work.

for me ratio's are an average of being wrong as neither sells nore ratio's tell the full story so take the pie put it together and see what you come up with. the Rock would have said something different but i never new what he was cooking, why he was always cooking, why he cooked so much or how he could cook while wrestling! it never made since to me lol?

As for predicting sales in the upcoming weeks...lets just wait and see. I'm no analyst, and can't say your wrong. thts the best part though. i won't be right or wrong but you will. your arguing for one side while i'm arguing for both and what could happen along with what has happened. i've opened the debat to every scenario not just one.

Black Ops - I agreed with you that after 6 months PS3 sales for the game were stronger. Post Gears 3 it makes sense for the 360 sales to drop, but BO got more popular on PS3 in July, 2 months before Gears. So yes it has legs on PS3, but the legs are just as long on 360, and much much fatter earlier on, then only minimally smaller late in life. The bundle was just where the turning point was, and it helped start the rise for PS3 versions. well i never heard of the bundle so so your using unfair tactic's and i'm reporting you to the ratings board for it lol.

ok that was my joke. i haven't a clue when that bundle was so i'm not sure of its current impact on sells.

hey check this game out. its on XBL  Bloodforge - Trailer - Xbox360

BF3 -> Yes, but MW3 is twice as big. It will boost 360 over PS3.

Japan has a minimal affect on MW3, it's mostly Americas region, and a small influence from EMEAA.

PS3 doing better in Americas then EMEAA... I said before Americas get a more dramatic push from Holiday sales. After December EMEAA sales will be again higher for PS3 then 360. This shows how important the Americas region is in Q4.

Yea, but if you just look at the numbers for CoD sales, you could wrongly imply that the franchise is getting more popular on the PS3 faster then it is for the 360, which is incorrect. No CoD this gen will sell better on a PS3 platform, even if PS3 overtakes 360 total sales before the last CoD title, it will still sell better on X-Box, and push 360 sales more strongly as it is a largly 360 favoring genre. That's my point.

I'm not trying to argue for 360 specifically, it's just the way I word things. I keep talking abut 360 outpacing PS3 on x weeks, but I rarely talk about PS3 outpacing 360 on x weeks. It's because PS3 will outpace 360 on Uncharted 3 week, and on Japanese FFXIII-2 week, no question. Just for weeks where both consoles get a system pushing even (CoD, Black Friday, etc) I think 360 will get more of a push, and this is the more subjective part of my arguement. The only real head to head week where both consoles have a different system seller (Halo and PS3 colours week), I still talk in terms of 360 because I really can't predict the Japanese market. I don't know how big system colours will be fr the PS3, but I have an idea for how much of a boost Halo will give.

So yes, we can both be wrong or right, I'm not trying to make my arguement one sided, but I guess since the holidays are pro-Americas, and 360 is strong in Americas, I will continuously be talking from the 360's perspective. Come January, when holidays are over, maybe I'll switch to PS3's perspective.

Google Black Ops PS3 Amazon Bundle. They released it 2 weeks after E3, and that week PS3 suddenly saw a 18% jump in sales, only in the Americas region. You can't blaime E3 for this because it's only 1 region that saw the boost, and it was after a solid weeks data came in after E3 (not including) where sales were unaffected.

Also you showed me Bloodforge before. It looks cool.
