WOW! After waiting between 48 and 72 hours for an answer from EA support international (that says they'll get back to you within 24 hours), I sent an e-mail to domestic support in Norway. A well reasoned, quite polite and rather lengthy one at that with the simple pleas of
A: Just please someone answer my questions.
B: Talk to your customers, tell them what's going on and what you're doing to fix things
Got an automatically forwarded answer shortly after which goes somewhere along the lines of;
"Thank you for contacting Electronic Arts customer support."
"We have recently made some changes as to how we respond to our customers and you will unfortunately not recieve an answer to the e-mail you sent. If you visit (link to a page with EA global support that won't answer me at all, which is why I contacted domestic and a link to domestic FAQ which details NOTHING RELEVANT AT ALL) you'll find the answers to frequently asked questions (except the ones that matter, of course) along with information on how to contact us directly (the very same adresses I've tried for days...)."
"We thank you for your patience."
"Electronic Arts customer support."
Jesus christ, they're sending me in circles, their phone lines are impossible to get through and no people answer mails, they simply refer you to other e-mail adresses that refer you back to the initial ones or others that don't yield a reply.
This is a new kind of despicable, not only do they release shitty products, they refuse to inform you and are impossible to get a hold of!
A global company with around 10.000 employees and none can be arsed to answer our e-mail.
Holy shit, EA, I never held them in high regard but this is beyond anything I've encountered in games or consumer electronics in my life.
