Yeah, there are people on the Battlelog forums who have saying as much lately. I think it might be risky though, it would be a terrible shame if you were somehow banned for using a workaround solution to avoid Origin.
At this point, I don't dare, I'll just keep on hoping that they'll get things sorted out. Its high time they did at any rate...
