I don't think any of those server issues are to do with Origin TBH, the servers, battle log and BF3 crashes are all separate from Origin.
Not to say Origin isn't a cheap imitation with many problems and no advantages over steam from a consumer point of view but to blame BF3's issues on it is rather strange.
