I haven't listened to any of those, but I sincerely hope the recorded versions you're hearing are different from the actual orchestra event from Friday.
Nintendo had the idea of putting videos up on screen showing off certain parts of games that flow with the music, but it was a retarded idea IMO. Orchestras are all about listening to the music and filling your own head with stories and pictures.
And to top it off, people would cheer, during the MIDDLE of a song, when a video of their favorite game/character started playing. It absolutely ruined the atmosphere and made me unable to hear certain sections of the songs due to all the retarded cheering going on.
I was sincerely disappointed with that concert.
