PS3 will just get seasonal sales increases this year. Last year PS3 got that and GT5 bumps (mostly in EMEAA and Japan), but no software release for PS3 this year will do that (Not UC3, not FFXIII-2).
360 will also get seasonal sales increases this year and although Kinect bump wont happen in November compared to last year I expect the sales to continue throughout December. Last year MS ran out of 360s by early to mid December and had to rely on a few fly in shipments the last couple of weeks. So that should help offset not getting the Kinect release bump. I also expect MS will be doing some big deals for the holidays. So not official price cuts, but gift cards and temporary price reductions compared to last year limited holiday specials.
Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.
