It shouldn't even have been up for debate whether WM+ is included and required, but this shows why everything fell apart for Nintendo in the last couple of years. No clear direction or vision, just toying around with stuff and hoping that it's successful.

wow over dramitizing a situation much?

I don't think he's being overdramatic at all. If Nintendo made up their minds sooner, the game would be out right now and they could've been working on new projects. Things like this is what caused Skyward Sword to take 5 years to develop. There's no excuse for this when a multitude of franchises has  the next installment released  in 2 years.

I understand what you are saying, but isn't this what always happens with Zelda? You would think that a systems swan song would be their most popular franchise (Mario), but Nintendo does Zelda. 64 Oot and Majora, GC we got windwaker and then T.P. Now if they would make the last game Mario then the system would see really well until the Wii U came out! Zelda is big, but not in a casual sort of way if that makes sense at all.

The time gap between A Link to the Past and Ocarina of Time was the only one that was bigger. It was six years, but that's understandable because they were going from 2D to 3D. Every other time it was only 1-3 years in between releases. Nintendo taking a step backwards in development time because they couldn't figure out which control scheme they wanted to use is just bad direction. Being the swan song was never an issue.
