well... I agree that online play is important for this kind of games, it can only make a game better anyway
but its a handheld which is mostly local play, so it won't hurt that bad, people in Japan will still buy it to play with their friends
it's bad from the point of view that a feature is removed... : (
don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^
